How gorgeous are these images?! We have to say that we were waiting with baited breath to see these Eva Mendes Thierry Mugler Angel ad campaigns as soon as it was revealed that she’d be the new face of the scent. We had a sneaky suspicion that they were going to be rather breathtaking, but we are currently lost for words - which is very rare for us as the GO Fashion team is quite a vocal one. She showcases two very different looks in the adverts – one depicts Princess-style elegance and the other just screams glamour-puss! Do you love them as much as we do? [Bella Sugar]
Ashton Kutcher returns to the runway and we couldn’t be happier. It’s a good year for Mr Demi Moore, isn’t it? Not only will he be Charlie Sheen’s replacement in Two and a Half Men (a highly coveted position), but he’s back to strutting his stuff on the catwalk. If you ask us, he’s back to what he does best because let’s face it, who wouldn’t want to be staring at this man on the runway? He walked alongside the equally gorgeous Alessandra Ambrosio during Sao Paulo Fashion Week, where they opened the show for the Brazilian brand, Colcci. Don’t they look amazing together? Don’t forget that Mr Kutcher started out in the modelling biz and we are mighty delighted that he has chosen to return. [Styleite]
If like us, you were confused when you saw pictures of Lily Allen walking down the aisle in a French Delphine Manivet gown instead of Chanel, we are here to shed some light. It was highly publicised that Uncle Karl would be designing Lily’s wedding dress, so there were a few raised eyebrows and looks of confusion when she turned up in a non-Lagerfeld creation. Now, don’t get us wrong, the dress itself was stunning, but it wasn’t Chanel. Today, some sketches of Kaiser Karl’s design for Lily’s dress have been revealed and we have to say – we are stunned. From the sketch alone, we can tell that this dress is gorgeous and in our opinion, slightly pips the other one to the post. Lily Allen, or should we say, Mrs Sam Cooper, revealed to her confused fans and fashionistas that the dress Karl Lagerfeld created was a secret one which was to be unveiled during the reception. Aaah, now we get it. [Marie Claire]
Lady Gaga has honoured the works of the very talented Gianni Versace in her latest video. Gaga showcases some of the designer’s gorgeous creations in her Edge of Glory video – the latest single from her Born This Way album. Well, it’s definitely a more tasteful video than JUDAS, we’ll give her that. Lady Gaga made a rather bold fashion statement recently and said that she was only going to be wearing Versace for the next two months. Although that isn’t strictly true, she hasn’t fully neglected her promise and wears a whole host of vintage Versace items in the video. Make sure you check it out, it’s unmissable. Plus, Gaga directed the video herself – how versatile! [Fashion Telegraph]
